Although it only has 468 km2, the Principality of Andorra is in a privileged position, in the heart of the Pyrenees. This allows it to offer a wide variety of ski areas perfect for the ski lovers. More specifically, in the country you can enjoy more than 300 skiable kilometers divided into two zones.
On the one hand, there is the Grandvalira area, which has 6 sectors located in Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa and has more than 400 instructors for those who want to start snow sports in a safe way.
On the other hand, there is the Vallnord area that has the Pal-Arinsal and Ordino-Arcalís sectors spread over 93 kilometers of slopes for all levels.
On top of that, the country also has 15 kilometers of cross-country ski tracks in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria, which makes Andorra the perfect place for all kinds of winter activities.
