Art in the heart of Andorra la Vella

We need to express ourselves and understand the reality around us. That is why many people find in art the way to communicate with others. To express a vision of the world, to transmit an idea or an emotion. Sun Gallery, located in the heart of Andorra la Vella, was created with the aim of presenting exceptional artists in their field to as many people as possible. Frank Mourey, the director of the art gallery, is in charge of this.

Currently, you can visit the works of four artists with different styles:

Olivier Tramoni:

Born in Nice in 1973, he studied for six years at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. His contrasting works of astonishing vitality represent his personal perception of landscapes, still lifes and human beings. He has a very personal pictorial style, bringing to figurative art a very characteristic modernism. His paintings are exhibited in galleries in Europe, the United States and Asia, particularly in Japan.

Gilles Deverchère:

He mainly focuses on working with iron and glass through the aesthetic recycling of objects, although he sometimes also uses other materials if they contribute to the harmony of the work. His sculptures combine light and shadow with the strength of metal in forceful lines and the purity of glass. Often working without a sketch, Deverchère creates from an object that will form part of his work or using as a base an object that he will transform into sculpture.

BERO:

Born in Paris in 1969. In his studio, he likes to mix hybrid printing techniques with paints, resins, gold leaf... to create material or light effects that make his works mysterious and intriguing.

Ernesto Revueltas:

He was born in Camagüey, Cuba, in 1988. He is an electrical engineer and also studied Visual Arts at the Centro Experimental de Artes Visuales José Antonio Díaz Peláez. Revueltas fuses poetry and plastic arts in his expressionist works. Through his abstract art, he tries to discern the depths of human thought. In addition to his painting, he has published poetry and anthologies in various magazines.

Valie de France:

She paints contemporary works that weave links between the finite and the infinite, dream and reality, warm atmospheres and more intimate ones. She defines herself as an eclectic artist, in constant search of new fields of expression.
