The Truites pond is just a few metres from the Comapedrosa refuge, at an altitude of 2,250 metres. The path we must follow to get there is the GR11, which starts at Prats Sobirans, Arinsal. The route has a total gradient of 650 metres and is of medium difficulty.
It is an ideal place to take a break before climbing the Comapedrosa peak and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings while recharging your energy. It should be noted that the Comapedrosa refuge is guarded by the Vallnord Pal Arinsal ski resort, although there is also a smaller one available right next door which is freely accessible.
